How to search for a user on TikTok

The easiest way to search for other users on TikTok is through the search function.

1. To do this, open the app on your smartphone and tap the magnifying glass in the menu.
2. Now you can not only search for specific videos, but also find other users.
3. Although TikTok can be used without an account, the user search requires an account of this person.
4. For the search, you now simply need the username of the user. Enter this name in the search bar, then the user's profile appears.

TikTok: Find user via mobile number or Facebook

If you do not know the username of the user, you can also find it via mobile number or Facebook if necessary. For this, however, the user must allow the synchronization of his contacts at TikTok. To do this, open the TikTok app and tap "Me" in the menu and the plus sign in your profile. Via "Find friends" you can now easily search users by mobile number or with Facebook contacts.
