The staging in Asia has been planned for several years and is now in the bag. Given the gaming enthusiasm on the largest continent in the world, this step is only logical. Gamescom Asia was supposed to take place in Singapore in 2020. However, this was initially postponed due to the pandemic. The new date is now planned for 2021. However, if the global situation does not change, it may happen that the event will also be held online, as has already happened in Germany.

2. It is planned that Gamescom Asia will be held annually, just like the original in Cologne.
3. That the event will be divided over several days and there will be different tickets, is also already known.
4. Decisive for this will be the success of the premiere event. The concept is very similar to the German event: In addition to game exhibitors, there are specials such as cosplay, eSports, shows and workshops.
