In order to communicate with your friends or strangers on Snapchat, you first need to create an account. However, this step is quite simple and is required after installing the app anyway. If you are unsure with the setup, just follow the rest of the steps.

Once you have downloaded the app from the corresponding store, you can already open it. The account is created directly afterwards.

1. Once the app has been started, you will find yourself in the login area.
2. There you now tap on the login area. Now you are directly prompted to enter your first and last name. These details do not have to be filled out truthfully.
3. Next, you will be taken to the terms of use and privacy policy, each of which you must accept by tapping on "Sign up and accept".
4. Now you still have to select a username as well as enter your date of birth.
5. Finally, a password of your choice will be linked to the account.
6. It is also a prerequisite to leave an email and your cell phone number.
