Snapchat: Create a date filter - this is how it works

If you have taken a photo and want to share it on Snapchat, it can be beneficial for you to use a date filter. This shows on which day the picture was taken. It is even possible to combine the filter with a second filter afterwards.

Where is the date filter in Snapchat?

In Snapchat, you can easily add the date filter via the time filter.

1. Select the image you want to apply the filter to.
2. Swipe to the side until you get to the time display.
3. Now, if you tap once on the current time in the middle of the screen, it will convert to the current date.
4. With another tap, you can even use different date displays.
5. If you want to assign the date filter with another filter, swipe back and look for the appropriate filter.
6. Now hold a finger on the screen and swipe back to the date filter. Now you have assigned the photo with a filter and the date filter at the same time.
