You should not send back your Unitymedia without an agreement. Even if you are asked to do so, do not ship the router by simply picking out the Vodafone address. Instead, create the return label online so that you receive the return free of charge.

1. If you have cancelled your Internet contract with Unitymedia or if your router is defective, you must return the Unitymedia router. Normally, you will receive in the cancellation confirmation or by phone a request for this step.
2. Since the shipment is made by DHL, you must first fill out the return slip online on the website.
3. For this purpose, call this website of Vodafone.
4. Click through the process here and enter the required data.
5. Now print out the completed form and attach it clearly visible on the package. Also, keep the proof of posting for the DHL package well for your records.
6. Note: If you would like to return the router as part of a revocation, you must send the package within the 14-day revocation period. In this case, however, you usually bear the shipping costs yourself.

If you send the return to Unitymedia and do not use the DHL form, it may be that you have to pay for the shipping costs independently.
