Cancel ALDI Talk - in these cases it is necessary

If you use a SIM card from ALDI Talk in your smartphone, you are usually not bound to any contract periods. What to do if you no longer want to be a customer of ALDI Talk and in which cases it is necessary to cancel, we explain in this article.

Is it necessary to cancel ALDI Talk?

Under the name ALDI Talk, the Aldi Group offers its customers various mobile tariffs with which you can make phone calls, write text messages and surf the Internet.
  1. Have you decided to no longer use your ALDI Talk card, a cancellation is usually not required.
  2. Since the period in which your SIM card from ALDI Talk is active is limited, it is automatically deactivated if you have not loaded credit for a long time.
  3. Depending on when your last top-up was and what amount you have topped up, it can take between 4 and 24 months before your card is deactivated.
  4. If your SIM card has been deactivated, you then have another two months to reactivate it by topping it up again. If you do not do this, the card will be permanently deactivated.

If you want to take the phone number that you use with ALDI Talk to another provider or have the credit on your SIM card paid out, it requires a written notice of termination.
