A Fritz WLAN repeater is a device that is used to amplify the WLAN signal of your Fritzbox. If you want to use a Fritz WLAN repeater, AVM, the manufacturer of the Fritzbox, offers you four different repeater models. Depending on which repeater you choose, the devices not only allow you to increase the range of the WLAN signal, but also improve the speed at which you surf the Internet up to 1,722 Mbps.

How to set up a Fritz WLAN repeater

Depending on whether you use the Fritz Repeater 600, 1200, 2400 or 3000, it is necessary to set up the device. The fastest way to do this is to use the WPS method.
  1. To use the method, first please connect the Fritz WLAN repeater to a power outlet near your Fritzbox.
  2. Then press the WPS button on the repeater for about six seconds until its LED starts flashing at WLAN.
  3. Now also press the WPS button on the Fritzbox and wait while the devices connect.
