Inserting a link into an email - this is how it is possible
Nowadays, many private and professional matters are handled via emails. For this very reason, it may be necessary to refer to a web page within an email. Almost all e-mail applications therefore allow you to easily insert a link into the e-mail. The recipient is then forwarded via it.
This is how you insert a link in an e-mail
Both in private and in professional environments, e-mails are frequently used for communication. Here, various documents are sent with the help of attachments. But also images, GIFs and other media can be shared via email. If you want to share a link to a desired web page via e-mail, you can usually simply copy it with the key combination "Ctrl" + "C" and paste it with "Ctrl" + "V". In order for the link to be clickable for the recipient, you have to insert it as a hyperlink.- In Outlook, go to "New Email Message" for this and then insert the link as described above. Highlight it completely and select "Insert". Now click on "Hyperlink".
- Applications, such as Thunderbird, usually recognize a link automatically. So this is automatically clickable for the recipient. Alternatively, select "Formatting" and then "Link". Then you can link a specific word.
- On the smartphone, you will find the option under "formatted text". Here you can specify that the highlighted text should be linked.
