Scrum: principles - these exist

Scrum is a software specifically designed for project management to simplify and optimize team work on a project. This is to make workflows more effective, with some tools and features available for this purpose.

These Scrum principles exist

Scrum is built on various agile principles that shape the framework. These are used to ensure effective and successful work, which is why they should definitely be followed. The actual work is built on these principles in Scrum, as they represent the cornerstone for the success of the work.
  • First and foremost is the "vision". This serves as an overarching point of orientation for a long-term goal, which the team follows or works towards.
  • Also the "value orientation" plays an important role. Thus, the results achieved should be measured by the value for the customer as well as the company.
  • Also of great importance is the "transparency". Therefore, it is of concern that upcoming tasks, goals as well as decisions to all participants of the team as well as stakeholders must be known as well as accessible.
  • Furthermore, the "focus" is also elementary. This is to ensure that the tasks to be completed are clearly prioritized in order to achieve increased focus.
  • The principle of "autonomy" ensures independence. This creates more self-organization and self-determination, which concerns the tasks to be completed in the team.
  • Another overriding principle is the "process fidelity". Thus, a process in Scrum is considered non-negotiable, as this was specified in advance, so that security, a reduction in costs and increased transparency are guaranteed.
  • Also of elementary importance and essential for success is the "feedback". Through the close cooperation of users, stakeholders and customers, the project can be constantly improved and the goal better achieved.
