Opodo: Rebook flight - how it works

On Opodo's website you have the possibility to book flights, hotels or even a complete package tour. Under certain conditions, you can also rebook or cancel your flight booked through Opodo. Get an overview of which conditions apply.

Opodo: What to consider when rebooking your flight

Whether you can rebook your flight booked on the Opodo website depends on the fare rules of the respective airline. While it is possible to change the travel date or the flight route without any problems with some airlines, this is usually excluded with low-cost tickets. If rebookings are allowed, this can be associated with additional costs.

1. In addition to paying the difference between the originally booked and the new flight, some airlines also charge a fee.
2. Opodo itself charges a fee of 50 euros per ticket for rebookings. However, this is only due if you have chosen the basic option. If, on the other hand, you have selected the Standard or Premium option, no processing fee will be charged.

How to cancel your flight via Opodo

If you would like to cancel your flight completely rather than just rebook it, this is only possible for scheduled flights, but not for flights with low-cost airlines. If you have booked a standard or premium option for your ticket, Opodo customer service will handle the cancellation for you free of charge. However, even if cancellation is possible, it does not mean that you will get a full refund of the airfare. Depending on the conditions of the airline, only a partial refund is also possible.
