Avira: What is OrganiZen? We explain the desktop tool

With OrganiZen, you already get a tool in the free version of Avira System Speedup that helps you keep the file overview on the desktop clean. We explain the tool.

Automatically pack away: OrganiZen ensures an almost empty desktop.

OrganiZen already carries its purpose of helping to organize the desktop in its name. The helper is part of Avira's System Speedup, which in turn belongs to the widespread Avira suite.

What is OrganiZen and how is it used?

You call up the tool by right-clicking on the desktop.

• A context menu then appears, in which OrganiZen is the top item.
• Hover the mouse pointer over it, you will see the options for cleaning.
• This can be done by date or by type.
• You perform the action by clicking on "Organize files".

Thereupon, many files no longer needed on the desktop are combined and packed into a new folder. This is called "OrganiZen" and contains subfolders sorted by date for each individual cleanup action. You can find all files there and easily bring them back to the desktop if needed.System Speedup Pro also gives you access to more settings, for example, you can enter only individual image types for sorting.
