Those who own the BahnCard can also order a partner card at a reduced price. There are a few things to keep in mind.

Partner cards available for all BahnCards

The prerequisite for a partner card is proof of marriage or civil partnership. For this, a common residence is already sufficient.

• If this is given, the BahnCard holder can order a partner card.
• This can also use the life partner for travel alone.
• The advantage is that the partner card is significantly cheaper, although it offers the full discounts as a normal BahnCard. Thus, the BahnCard 25 partner card costs only 36.20 euros (2nd class) instead of the regular 54.60 euros. For the BahnCard 50 partner card, it is 111.90 euros instead of 224.70 euros.
• These prices also apply to the discounted BahnCards.
• Owners of the BahnCard 100 can not order a 100 partner card; however, the BahnCard partner cards 25 and 50 are possible.
