WoW Classic: What is the Ironman Challenge?

For those who find the normal challenges in World of Warcraft not enough, special tasks can be used to make them even more difficult. Since the early days, this has included the Ironman Challenge.

WoW does not have a designated hardcore mode. Per Ironman Challenge, however, you can put yourself to the test.

WoW Classic: This is Ironman Challenge

The Ironman Challenge is quite simply defined in WoW Classic:

• A character must reach maximum level 60 without dying.
• Further requirements do not exist - the exact implementation is freely customizable.
• Logically, particularly risky game content is thereby rather avoided. Relatively easy quests are in the foreground.
• This also affects the class selection: Ranged fighters such as mages are traditionally popular, also classes with companions (hunters, warlocks) are well suited for it.
• But this does not mean that the challenge with melee fighters is impossible. There are enough successful examples.

An official "certificate" for passing the Ironman Challenge does not exist in WoW Classic, however. Spieler, die daran interessiert sind, sollten die Herausforderung daher in erster Linie als Geschichte für sich selbst sehen.
