FIFA 21: Freeze event started - we explain the new cards

The ideas for new special cards EA Sports obviously never run out. This is evident at Christmas 2020, as FUT mode has once again been given another category. We explain the freeze cards.

The freeze cards made their first appearance in the series with FIFA 21 and are thus brand new.

FIFA 21: Freeze cards provide even more variation

In addition to the striking icy design of the cards, they stand for the following features in terms of content:

• Per Freeze card, players get a new overall strength as well as a new position.
• The first Freeze team, which appeared on December 18, 2020 and included eleven players, provided vivid examples. The strongest player there was Sadio Mané with a strength of 92 (instead of 90) and a striker position (instead of left wing).
• Also very strong: Casemiro as a defender with a strength of 90.
• Freeze cards are obtained via SBCs and weekly tasks.
