Set up Postbank BestSign - this is how you proceed
If you want to make a transfer with your smartphone, you need a TAN, just like with online banking. With the Postbank app, however, the BestSign procedure is available to you. This means you no longer need a TAN.
How to set up Postbank BestSign
If you don't want to use a TAN all the time when transferring money via your smartphone, you can use Postbank's BestSign procedure. In this way, you can carry out transfers using a password of your own choice, the fingerprint scanner or also via the facial recognition of your smartphone.- First download the "Postbank Financial Assistant" app.
- After installation, start the app. Then log in to the app with your online banking data.
- Once you have logged in, close the app and restart it.
- In the login window, you will see the item "BestSign" on the right-hand side. Click on it and then on "BestSign Settings".
- Then follows "Register BestSign".
- Now you still have to confirm a self-selected password and subsequently receive a "Seal One ID".
- Now log in to your online banking on the PC.
