If you feel bothered or disturbed by a certain contact, you can easily block their phone number. This will prevent that person from calling you or contacting you via SMS or FaceTime. A blocked person can also be unblocked if necessary.

If you want to block a foreign number, you don't have to add it to your address book first. You can perform a block directly.

1. Navigate to your contacts by opening the address book. Alternatively, you can also switch to the calls and contacts section by clicking on the phone icon.
2. Further, now switch to your call list and look for the corresponding entry.
3. Tap on the exclamation mark next to the entry and scroll to the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap on the "Block caller" option there so that you no longer receive calls.
5. If you want to block a contact from your address book, repeat the steps under your contacts instead of in the caller list.

Das sollten Sie beachten

1. Gesperrte Kontakte können zwar keine Nachrichten mehr schicken, jedoch immer noch Voicemails hinterlassen.
2. Darüber werden Sie jedoch nicht benachrichtigt.
3. Ein gesperrter Kontakt kann jederzeit wieder freigegeben werden.
4. Dazu müssen Sie nur im entsprechenden Eintrag die Sperre aufheben.
