Increase volume - this is how it works on your PC

When you start an application in Windows, you have several options to make settings. Usually, the program itself already offers a function that allows you to increase the volume, for example. But Windows itself also offers you the appropriate function with the volume mixer.

This is how you increase the volume of an application

With various programs you need sound to be able to follow what is happening. Regardless of whether it's a media player, a game or another type of application, they usually offer a built-in feature that allows you to increase the volume. Nevertheless, it may happen that this is not enough. In this case, Windows also offers you the appropriate option.

1. If you want to increase the volume of an application via Windows, first start it.
2. If you have started the application in full-screen mode, first press the Windows key on your keyboard to display the taskbar.
3. Now click on the speaker icon in the bottom right corner.
4. After that, you will see a slider that allows you to increase the general volume of your computer.
