To avoid getting into trouble, it is important that you carry out the HU within the month specified on the sticker at the latest.- If you miss the HU within the month specified on the sticker, it is an administrative offense. If you let more than two months pass, it will be punished with a warning fine. If you miss the renewal of the sticker more than eight months, there is a point in Flensburg and a fine of about 60 euros.
- If you are more than two months late, the assessor at the inspection station must also perform a supplementary examination. For this extra examination, the inspection station usually charges a cost surcharge of about 20 percent to the normal costs incurred.
