Asus Zenfone 6: GPS - how to use it

Asus Zenfone 6: How to activate the GPS

The new Asus Zenfone 6 also has an integrated GPS function that helps you with navigation. If you have activated the GPS, various applications like Google Maps or the weather app get access to the function and provide you with more accurate search results. If the GPS function is disabled on your device, you can enable it via the Settings app. To do so, please navigate to "Settings" > "Location" on the Asus Zenfone 6 and tap on the "GPS" entry.

What to do if the GPS on the Asus Zenfone 6 does not work

If the use of the GPS on the Asus Zenfone 6 does not work or only provides you with inaccurate results, this can have several reasons. To fix the problem, please go through the following steps:

1. Check under "Settings" > "Location" whether the device's location function is enabled and catch up if necessary.
2. If you are using a GPS-enabled app for the first time or have only a weak signal, it is recommended to go outside so that your device can get a better satellite signal.
