How to activate Bluetooth on the Asus Zenfone 6

The Bluetooth of the Asus Zenfone 6 offers you the possibility to connect other smartphones, a tablet or the PC to the Asus smartphone for data exchange. Bluetooth-enabled accessories such as speakers or headphones can also be paired wirelessly in this way.
  1. Before you start connecting other devices to the Asus Zenfone 6 via Bluetooth, it is necessary to turn on the function.
  2. This is done via the device's settings, which you can open by tapping the "gear icon" in the quick settings.
  3. In the settings, then go to "Connected devices" and move the slider next to the "Bluetooth" entry to the right to activate the function.

Pairing a Bluetooth device with the Asus Zenfone 6

After successfully activating the Bluetooth function, you can connect any Bluetooth-enabled device with the Asus Zenfone 6. However, the prerequisite for this is that the corresponding device is in pairing mode. If this is the case, the device is displayed under "Settings" > "Connected devices" > "Bluetooth" in the list of available devices and you can pair it by tapping on its name. If the device you want to pair is not in the list, tap "Renew" in the three-dot menu to search for more Bluetooth devices.
