DuckDuckGo: Show only German results - here's how

DuckDuckGo does not exploit any personal data, but this also means that some settings have to be done manually first. Read how to limit the search to German results.

With DuckDuckGo, searches can be refined similarly to Google and other search engine giants.

This is how DuckDuckGo shows you only German results

You can find the option you are looking for by performing a normal search:

1. Enter any search query at duckduckgo.com.
2. You will get the results. There you will see some setting options above the results, including the search region on the far left. If this is set to "All regions", simply select "Germany" instead.
3. Also make sure that the slider is activated (blue).

The same search should now bring up different results (depending on the previous entries), focusing on German-language content.
