How to record in Microsoft Teams

If you are attending a conference, you may want to show or talk about important information that you may want to review later. For this purpose, you have the option to record these meetings in Microsoft Teams. The function is also available for video or audio calls. This tool is especially useful when the screen is shared in the meeting and a presentation is shown. In order to use the recording function in Microsoft Teams, you have to meet certain requirements. 1. First, start or enter a conference.
  2. Now switch to the meeting controls. There you click the three dots and follow the path "More options" > "Start recording".
  3. Click this option, where now all other participants will receive a notification about the recording and also in the meeting history is visible.
  4. If you want to end the recording afterwards, then click again in the meeting elements on "More options" and then select "End recording".
