Enable GeForce graphics card - how to turn it on

In today's computer, it often happens that you have a graphics processor on your motherboard in addition to a graphics card. As long as you don't have your standalone graphics card enabled, the computer will happily fall back on the onboard graphics card.

Enabling GeForce graphics card - how to make it easy

First of all, you need to make sure that your graphics card is properly connected and also recognized by your BIOS. If you don't know how to get into the BIOS, you can look it up here.
  1. Now log in to your Windows computer and go to the "Control Panel". Next, select "Appearance and Personalization", then go to "Display". Finally, click on "Screen Resolution".
  2. Now you need to go to the "Advanced Settings".
  3. If you see an Intel HD graphics in the listing and not your graphics card, it must first be activated.
  4. When you see your graphics card there, select an application and right-click on it.
  5. From the menu, now select the "NVIDIA High Performance Processor" under "Run with Graphics Processor".

Enable GeForce graphics card in BIOS

  1. Once you are in BIOS, look for the system graphics settings.
