If you wish, you can delete your Google account. However, you should make sure that you do not lose any data that you still need. 1. Call your Google Account.
2. Under "Manage data, services and account" click "Delete service or account > Delete account".
3. Navigate to "Data & Personalization".

How to remove your Google account from your phone

If you want to sell or give away your Android smartphone or tablet, you should remove your Google account from the device, as it contains your private data. Note that contacts, emails and more are directly related to the Google account and disappear from the Android when you remove the account.

1. Open the "Settings" app on your smartphone or tablet.
