Google Play Store not working: here's why
Problems with the Google Play Store can manifest themselves in different ways. Your Play Store may not open at all, or the application may open but not load any apps. Most of the time, it's just a temporary problem that can be fixed quickly.
What to do if the Google Play Store does not work?
If the Google Play Store does not open on your tablet or smartphone or shows other malfunctions, several causes are possible. Test all solutions one after the other. How to remedy
- Check the Internet connection: If the Play Store opens but doesn't load any apps, it's often due to your internet connection. Check if you are connected to wifi or have mobile data. You can also open a website in the browser to rule out that a poor connection is the problem.
- Restart app: If it is not due to the Internet connection, restart the app.
- Restart device: Turning the device off and on again can help, as this stops temporary files and processes that may interfere with the app.
- Inadequate storage: If initial problems appear when installing apps, there may not be enough space. Check the memory space in the settings under "Memory".
- Perform updates: Open the settings and select "About phone" and then "System updates" and perform any updates.
