Ebay: Remove rating - how to do it

For every purchase or sale made on Ebay, users can leave a rating. If you have received a negative rating on the sales platform, there is an option to remove it.

Having received a bad rating from a buyer or seller on Ebay, its deletion is possible only under certain conditions.

1. If the review contains vulgar, racist or offensive content, you have the option to have it removed by Ebay by submitting a request.
2. Alternatively, you can also submit a request to the Ebay user who gave you the bad review and ask them to remove it.
3. If the deletion of the review is not possible, there is the possibility in the first 30 days after their receipt to make a request for processing.

How to change your own rating on Ebay

Have you submitted a rating on the sales platform Ebay for a purchase or sale and want to change or remove it subsequently, an entry is required for this. To do this, use a form provided by Ebay and ask to edit the rating. You will then receive an email from Ebay, in which you must click on "Accept request" to be redirected to your rating. Now you can submit a positive, neutral or negative rating there again and change it by clicking "Revise rating" and "Confirm".
