The Urtum is impossible to miss and quickly attracts attention. It is not without reason that it is called perhaps the most eye-catching WoW mount to date.

And the appearance of the mount is no coincidence, but was deliberately initiated by the WoW community.

• In September 2020, Blizzard launched a poll regarding a free mount.
• There was also the Wandering Urtum to the election - and prevailed with 33 percent of the votes ultimately.
• In March 2021, it was then so far: the ground mount was gradually delivered to all players.

Special requirements there are namely not; you only need to own the current expansion Shadowlands. Even players who buy Shadowlands later will receive the urtum.
