How to add a YouTube video directly to PowerPoint

When you create a presentation with PowerPoint, you can add not only text but also images and videos to it. If the video is a YouTube video, you have two ways to add it to your presentation. The easiest way is to insert the video directly from the website into PowerPoint.

1. To do this, first call up the video to be inserted on YouTube and click first on "Share" below it and then on "Embed" before copying the embed code that appears.
2. Then navigate to "Insert" > "Videos" in PowerPoint's menu bar and click on the "Video from website" option.
3. Paste the previously copied code now still in the window that opens and confirm with "Paste".

Alternatively, you can add a YouTube video to your PowerPoint presentation by selecting the option "Video from file" under "Insert" > "Videos". This is especially recommended if you want to use only part of the video or if you do not have an internet connection during your presentation. To use this method, first download the YouTube video to your PC. To do this, you will need an additional program such as Video Grabber and you will need to copy the URL of the video into the program before clicking Download.
