PowerPoint: How to insert images correctly

A good presentation includes many images and graphics and comparatively little text. This way you guarantee that the audience follows your words attentively and that you don't already anticipate the content of your presentation on the slides. However, importing images into PowerPoint needs to be skillful.

PowerPoint: Insert images correctly - here's how to do it

You can insert images in PowerPoint in two different ways. However, it is recommended to use the appropriate tools so that the formatting of the slides is not destroyed.
  1. First open the program and either create a new presentation or open a previously created project.
  2. Now select the desired slide on which you would like to insert an image.
  3. Switch to the "Insert" tab and select the "Images" option from the "Images" group.
  4. Now navigate to the location on your computer where the desired image is stored and select it.
  5. If the image is not on your computer, but it is an image from the Internet, click instead under "Images" on "Online Graphics".
  6. Finally click on " Insert" so that the image is inserted.

PowerPoint: Bilder per Drag & Drop einfügen

  4. Nun können Sie es positionieren und bearbeiten.
