  1. If the TrustedInstaller program locks files, this problem is easy to fix. First, test whether it is enough to restart the computer or update Windows.
  2. If the files are still locked, disable the service TrustedInstaller briefly.
  3. Under "Control Panel" navigate to "System and Security" to "Administrative Tools".
  4. Under "Services" you will find the service "Windows Modules Installer" in the list.
  5. Stop this service and try again to access the locked files.
