What is Disney+ Star? We explain the lineup expansion

Disney+ launched in 2020 as a streaming service focused on family-friendly content. As it has grown, it has steadily expanded its lineup, most recently particularly heavily in the form of Star.

Also for adults: Star adds hundreds of titles to Disney+'s lineup.

Animated movies for the whole family have been a mainstay of Disney+ from the start. However, this is not to be the only argument in the future.

Disney+: Star is aimed at adults

With Star, quite a few new contents come into the library of Disney+.

• These are not necessarily child-friendly - Disney+ should thus become even more interesting for adults.
• There are many familiar names, such as classic series like The X-Files, 24, Lost or Grey's Anatomy.
• Also cartoon hits like Family Guy and American Dad are included.
• In terms of movies, action-packed hits like 96 Hours are at the start.
