Resetting Symfonisk - these steps are necessary

Symfonisk is a range of speakers from IKEA, which the company developed together with Sonos. If problems occur, you can reset Symfonisk to factory settings using a key combination.

How to reset a Symfonisk speaker

The speakers in the Symfonisk range can be easily controlled using an app that you download for free from the corresponding store. In addition, you can integrate them with the IKEA smart home system. However, if minor problems occur or you want to completely delete the settings, you can reset the devices to factory settings. Since you will not find an option for this in the app, a suitable key combination is needed directly on the device.

1. First, unplug the speaker's power cable from the power outlet.
2. Then hold down the play/pause button. Meanwhile, plug the power cable back into the socket.
3. However, do not release the button until the status LED on the device flashes alternately orange and white.
4. If the device has been successfully reset, you can tell by the LED, as it will now flash green. Then you need to set up the speaker again to use them as usual. To do this, proceed as you did when you first turned on the speaker.
