Delete Samsung account: How to do it

If you have a Samsung, you will be asked during setup if you want to create your own Samsung account. However, if you no longer own a Samsung device, you will not be able to continue using the services. You can therefore delete your Samsung account in just a few steps.

With a Samsung smartphone or tablet, you can create an account with Samsung that provides you with various features. However, there is no compulsion to create the account. Once you no longer have a Samsung or if you simply do not want to use the services, you can simply leave your account or remove it.Deleting the account you can easily do through the website. You don't even have to contact customer service for this like you do with most other online services. Also on the Samsung under App menu>Settings>Accounts you can delete the account.

Deleting your Samsung account

To delete your account with Samsung, you need your login details.

1. Open your browser, type "samsung.com/en" in the address bar and open the website.
2. Click on the person icon at the very top right, then click on "Sign in" and enter your login details.
3. Now click on your profile picture and username. Sind diese nicht als große Schaltfläche angezeigt, klicken Sie vorher erneut oben rechts auf das Personen-Symbol.
4. Wechseln Sie nun zu „Account-Einstellungen“.
5. Wählen Sie „Konto löschen“.
6. Bestätigen Sie mit einem Häkchen, dass Sie die Bedingungen gelesen haben.
7. Klicken Sie abschließend auf „Löschen“.

Einen Moment später erhalten Sie zur Löschung Ihres Accounts noch eine Bestätigungs-Mail.
