How to sync your iPhone with Outlook

If you want to use Outlook on your smartphone as well, you can easily sync your iPhone with Outlook. So you have all Outlook contacts, emails and appointments also on your smartphone in view.

Sync Outlook and iPhone automatically

In the iTunes App Store you can download and install the Outlook software for your smartphone. So that you can easily synchronize data, you should then log in with your account:

1. Open the settings on your iPhone.
2. Under "Accounts & Passwords" tap "Mail" and then select Outlook in the list.
3. Log in here with your Outlook credentials to access your account.

Data such as mails, contacts and calendar data are now automatically synchronized between Outlook and iPhone. So that the data is loaded, you should best have a stable WLAN network.

To connect your Outlook with your iPhone, you need the software iTunes on your PC and the USB cable to your iPhone.

1. Plug the USB cable into the PC and connect it to your iPhone.
2. Open iTunes and select your device if necessary.
3. Under the "Info" tab, you can specify which data should be synchronized. For Outlook, select all the appropriate categories such as contacts and calendars to be synced.
4. You complete the selection by clicking "Sync".

Whenever you connect your iPhone to iTunes, iPhone and Outlook will now be synced automatically.
