iPhone: Sync Contacts with Outlook

Sync your contacts between Outlook and your iPhone, and the apps will exchange contacts with each other. Create a new contact in Outlook and it will automatically be transferred to your iPhone and vice versa.

Set up email account on iPhone: Sync contacts with Outlook

By setting up your Outlook account on your iPhone, you sync contacts automatically. If you wish, you will also synchronize all your emails and calendar data. To do this, proceed as follows:

1. Open the settings on your iPhone.
2. Tap on "Accounts & Passwords". Do not see this menu, tap instead on "Mail" > "Accounts".
3. Now select Outlook from the list of email providers.
4. Log in with your Outlook credentials and tap "Next". If the data is correct, the setup is almost complete.
5. Now select which data should be synchronized in the following. Make sure that "Contacts" is checked in any case before you finish the setup.

Sync data via iTunes

If you do not want to link Outlook with your iPhone, you can also import only the contact data.

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer and start iTunes.
2. Wählen Sie in der Software dann Ihr iPhone aus.
3. Wechseln Sie über die linke Menüleiste in die Rubrik „Info“.
4. Wählen Sie beim Synchronisieren nun „Outlook“ aus und entscheiden Sie, dass die Kontakte synchronisiert werden sollen.
5. Die Daten werden übertragen. Nachfolgend synchronisieren die Daten immer, wenn Sie Ihr iPhone mit iTunes verbinden.
