iPhone X: Synchronize contacts with Outlook

Synchronizing your contacts in Outlook only works via iTunes. However, if you don't want to be logged in with your Apple ID and iCloud on every device, you can also make a transfer of contacts by exporting them manually.

iPhone X: Export Contacts from Outlook

In order to use your contacts and other data from Outlook on another device, you need to export them to a special file format.

1. First you need to open Outlook on your computer and click directly on the "File" menu item.
2. There you will find the "Import/Export" button, which you now also click on.
3. Select the entry Export to file and click on "Next".
4. As file type, decide on "Outlook data file (PST)" and click again on "Next".
5. Check the box "Include subfolders" to actually include all data in the export.
6. Further select "Browse" to assign a location and a name for the file and finally click "Finish".

iPhone X: Kontakte mit Outlook synchronisieren – der Import

1. Um Ihre Daten nun auf dem iPhone verfügbar zu haben, müssen Sie die Datei auf das Gerät übertragen.
2. Wechseln Sie dazu in Outlook ebenfalls auf die Schaltfläche „Importieren/Exportieren“, wählen Sie den ersten Eintrag und suchen Sie nach der gerade erstellten Datei.
3. Nach einem kurzen Moment werden alle Daten in Ihr Outlook übertragen.
