Spotify: Delete search history - this is how easy it works

When searching for new songs in Spotify, you can always see the last searches. If you want to make this listing disappear, our guide explains how to clear your search history.

Clear the air: You can delete your Spotify search history in no time.

Because of the many millions of songs on Spotify, the search function is absolutely indispensable. However, this does not mean that the history must always be displayed.

Spotify: How to delete the search history

Proceed as follows:

1. Tap on "Search" at the bottom of the app.
2. You will now see a list of your last searches. You can delete each of these individually by tapping on the "X" to the right of it.
3. Even more convenient is to delete the entire visible search history in one fell swoop. To do so, tap "Clear recent searches" at the bottom.

This cleans up the list and you can start fresh again with your Spotify searches.
