Google Talkback - how Google reads to you

Talkback from Google is a useful smartphone feature where your phone reads individual passages of text to you. This is especially useful when you can't look at your phone at the moment, for example in the car or at work. However, the function can also be turned off if you don't need it.

Since Google Talkback is a basic function, it is usually available on the smartphone ex works. Sometimes, however, the service has to be downloaded from the Play Store. This is then located in the Google Accessibility Suite app. In order to use Google Talkback, you have to activate it.

1. Go to Settings and then on to "System and operating aids".
2. Search for "Talkback" and check whether the service is switched on or off.
