Enable Fire TV Bluetooth - here's how to do it

In addition to the HDMI and Wi-Fi connection, the Amazon Fire TV also has a Bluetooth interface. Through this, you can pair compatible remotes, controllers, headphones or other Bluetooth accessories with the Fire TV. In the settings you will find the options for connecting and managing the various devices.

How to enable Bluetooth on Amazon Fire TV

To pair Bluetooth devices with Fire TV, you need to go to the Fire TV settings, there you will find the appropriate options for it. Once set up, the Bluetooth connection is automatically active when the paired devices are in range.
  1. Start your Amazon Fire TV and call the settings of the device.
  2. There, select the item "Game controllers and Bluetooth devices".
  3. Here you have different options. You can either pair a remote control or a controller with the Fire TV.
  4. If you select "Other Bluetooth devices", you have the option to connect new accessories via "Add Bluetooth device".
  5. Select the device you want to link. You also still need to enable pairing mode on the device.
  6. Enter the pairing code if needed to complete the connection.

Things to keep in mind when pairing Bluetooth devices with the Fire TV

Make sure the Bluetooth device is no more than 1.5 meters away from the Fire TV during pairing. The "Game Controllers and Bluetooth Devices" menu also gives you the option to manage and remove paired devices.
