Where can I find my favorites in Firefox?

Favorites help you quickly access your frequently visited web pages without manually typing the address in the address bar. This way, a simple click will take you to a page that is difficult to reach on the corresponding website. If you want to customize your favorites, you need the location.

Here you can find your favorites from Mozilla Firefox

Favorites are displayed directly in the browser and are thus easily accessible, but you cannot manage them from there.
  1. Now, to get to the location of your favorites so that you can export them for another browser or computer, you need to switch to a special folder structure.
  2. First, use the key combination [Windows] + [R] to open the "Run" command.
  3. There you now enter "Appdata" and confirm with [Enter].
  4. Now navigate through the folders "Mozilla", "Firefox" and finally switch to "Profiles".
  5. There you will find the folder "default", which contains all the data from your Firefox profile.
  6. Inside this folder is the folder "bookmarkbackups", where all your favorites are stored in a JSON file.
