Xbox Series X/S: These are the features of the controller

Due to the popularity of the Xbox One controller, Microsoft has kept the basic concept, but improved it in certain areas.

Xbox Series X: Controller as a consistent development

The look and feel of the new controller are very similar because of this, which is good news. Still, it's not exactly the same device:

• Streaming is in vogue and that's why the new controller has an additional small button right in the middle, namely the Share button. With this, screenshots and videos can be quickly captured and shared.
• The control pad looks different, as it is the classic digital cross incorporated into a movable disc. Digital and analog meet here.
• The new Xbox controller is also suitable for small hands.
• The latency in wireless transmission has been further optimized.
• The connection with other devices should be even faster and more trouble-free by hand.
• In terms of power supply remains (almost) everything the same: The controller is operated with two AA batteries or with a purchasable battery pack. However, the connection is now the newer USB-C standard.

The Xbox Series X/S controller is available in several colors, besides the classics black and white, for example, also in blue. When buying a console, one controller is always included; the cost for additional controllers is 60 euros.
