Create a YouTube channel: How to proceed

You can create a YouTube channel in just a few steps via the YouTube website. Open it via your browser and log in to your account with your data.

1. Click on your profile picture at the top right next to the bell icon.
2. Then select the option "My Channel".
3. In your channel overview you now have several options. So you can upload new videos directly under "Overview". In addition, it is possible to view your videos, playlists and all your channels.
4. Click on "Customize Channel" at the top. Here you can, for example, add a channel image under "Branding". Also important is the channel description, which you can add under "General Information". This finally explains to your visitors what your channel is about.
5. On the left side you will find more icons, through which you can make various settings.
6. Under "Playlists" you can release your own playlists for the public. Under "Uploads" appear all videos and livestreams that you have made publicly visible.
