Magenta Cloud - how to share your files

With the Magenta Cloud from Telekom, you can reserve storage space and thus access your photos, videos or documents from anywhere. Telekom also provides you with an app for this purpose. When you share files, it is possible for other users to access selected information.

How to share files in the Magenta Cloud

Telekom offers you the option to reserve as much storage space as you need in the Magenta Cloud. 10 GB are available free of charge. If you are a Telekom customer, you can use up to 25 GB for free. If you would like to claim more storage space, this is associated with costs. You can also share some selected files with others, thus sharing access to certain documents or photos.

1. Go to the Magenta Cloud website in your browser.
2. Then mark the folder you want to share with other users. If you only want to share individual files, you should save them in a new folder beforehand, which you can then share.
3. Finally click on the "Share" button at the top.
4. Now a share link will be created for you, which you can send to everyone you want to share the folder with.
5. Another option is to enter the email addresses within the share dialog. Then an email with the appropriate link will be sent to the individuals automatically.
