Squadron 42: Release date - all info

The hype around Star Citizen also affects the solo variant Squadron 42. The single-player campaign was originally supposed to be released years ago, yet no release date is foreseeable yet. While a release in 2020 was originally planned, this now looks different. As a result, enthusiasm for the game is also declining.

Squadron 42: When is the release of the game?

While the release was still in the stars for a long time, it became more concrete over time. So CIG founder Chris Roberts came forward shortly before Christmas 2018 and planned the release of the game in 2020.

1. 2020 was postponed due to the Corona pandemic the release of the beta version of the game. Whether the beta version will also be directly public, is also not known.
2. But in the meantime, the developers already announced that there will also be no release in 2021.
3. Till now, there is therefore no prospect of an exact date or period from which the solo campaign will be playable.
4. For fans, there is thus no hope of being able to play Squadron 42 itself a little earlier.
5. But not only the solo campaign is waiting for a release. Auch Star Citizen befindet sich bereits seit Jahren noch in der Alpha-Phase. Dabei handelt es sich um die MMO-Variante des Spiels. Ein offizieller Release ist zwar für 2022 geplant, jedoch ist auch das nicht sicher.
