Apple Pay: Use Touch ID to pay

Both online and in stores, Apple Pay allows you to pay in seconds. You don't need cash or your credit card to do this. You simply hold your Apple device to the payment terminal and the transaction is carried out. Learn how to use Touch ID to pay with Apple Pay here.

How to pay with Apple Pay using Touch ID

Once you've set up your Apple ID and added a valid credit card to Wallet, you can use Touch ID to pay with Apple Pay in many places. To do this, proceed as follows:
  1. To ensure that Apple Pay is accepted as a payment method, look for the Apple Pay symbol at the checkout in advance.
  2. To pay, now place your finger on Touch ID.
  3. Leave your finger on the Touch ID while holding the upper part of your iPhone directly to the payment terminal for a few seconds.
  4. The display will now show the successful transaction.
In addition to payment with Touch ID, Apple Pay also allows you to use it via Face ID authentication. Alternatively, authenticate transactions with Apple Pay easily by entering the code.
