Hamachi: guide - how to set up the VPN client

The VPN client Hamachi allows you to play from home with your friends over a private network. After that, it is possible to use the LAN game mode of the applications. To use Hamachi, you must first download the client and then set it up.

To use the LAN feature of games even if you are not on the same network, you can use Hamachi. First download the client, then you can start setting up your private network.

1. Start Hamachi on your computer first, then click the blue power button to activate the VPN service.
2. Now click "Network" and select "Create new network". After that, you need to enter any ID. These need your friends to be able to connect to the network. Here you also have the option to specify a password.
3. Once you have entered all the details, you can open the network via the "Create" button.
4. If, on the other hand, you want to join a network, then click on the tab "Network" and then "Join existing network".
5. In the new window, enter the ID and password and select "Join".
