In the booming market of gaming keyboards, the German manufacturer Roccat is mixing at the top. To bring clarity to the model range, we explain the differences between the top-of-the-line Vulcan AIMO 120, 121 and 122 models.

Under the name Vulcan AIMO, gamers will find the flagship series of the Hamburg-based peripheral specialist. The three model numbers of the mechanical keyboards sometimes cause confusion.

Technically, the three models are absolutely identical: they carry Roccat's in-house Titanium switches, have a lighting system with 16.7 million colors, are made of metal, and have features like N-Key rollover and anti-ghosting. Price-wise, the 120 version is often available at a slightly lower price since it has been around the longest, but that's also a matter of timing or current deals.
