iTunes doesn't show apps - that's the reason

If you open iTunes and are surprised that no apps are displayed, you probably haven't used the software for a while. Since the update to iTunes 12.7, the feature to manage apps through iTunes has been removed.

This is why iTunes doesn't show you apps

iTunes has long been an absolute all-rounder for Apple users. Media library, backups and even managing apps were done directly in the software. But now there are much easier ways to access or re-download the apps. That's why iTunes no longer shows you apps since version 12.7.

All about Apps & Co.

If you call up iTunes, you will immediately notice that there are significantly fewer functions. You can still sync data between your PC and your iPhone, as well as create a backup. The media library is also still available. However, you will no longer find information about your apps in iTunes.
  • Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, you can always download and install your apps again.
  • Through the App Store, your applications are also updated.
  • You will also find a list of your linked apps in the menu of your iPhone. Open Settings, tap on your name and open "Password & Security". Tippen Sie dann auf „Apps mit deiner Apple-ID“, um eine Übersicht zu finden.
Sie müssen also auf keine Funktionen verzichten. Stattdessen sind Ihre Apps nur an anderer Stelle zu finden.
