Both 4G and 4G+ are abbreviations that describe the quality of mobile data connections. Even though 4G and 4G+ are both used as abbreviations for an LTE connection, there are still differences between the connection standards. The biggest difference is in the speed.

1. While you can reach speeds of up to 150 Mbits/s when surfing with a 4G connection, up to 450 Mbit/s are possible with a 4G+ connection.
2. Also in terms of download speed, this is significantly faster with 4G+ at an average of 123.9 Mbit/s than with the 4G standard, where downloads only occur at 20.83 Mbit/s.
3. The same applies to upload speeds. While this is at 1.48 Mbit/s with 4G, uploading videos, photos or files is done at a speed of 31 Mbit/s with 4G+.
4. In addition, the average response time is significantly slower than with 4G+ with 54.17ms compared to 38ms with 4G.
