It can happen that your Huawei P Smart display is damaged and needs to be replaced. Of course, the smartphone can be given in repair, but then it usually costs more than if you replace the display itself. However, you will need special tools for this.

To replace the display of your Huawei P Smart, you need a few things to make the process easier. Among other things, a suction cup is needed, with which you can detach the display from the device.

1. First, turn off the smartphone and place it with its back on a flat surface. For safety, also remove the compartment containing the SD and SIM card.
2. Now carefully detach the display from the housing by placing the suction cup on the display, fix it and lift slightly. Take your time during this process so that you can detach the case without damage.
3. Now remove the fingerprint sensor as well as all Phillips screws in the case, the corresponding metal covers and all flex connections that fix the battery.
4. Now remove the battery by warming it a little and apply the suction cup again to remove the display completely.
5. Place the new display in the case and perform all steps in reverse to reassemble the device.
